With the upgrade to Defcon 4 does this now mean that it is reasonably safe to do all updates on Win 10 as well as the new 2004? Thanks

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerFor those of you who have an Intel Solid State Drive, the link below will lead you to the Intel toolbox. It’s a great tool and easy to use. It does take a bit of time to install but it’s well worth it. This is the easy way to keep your drivers and software up to date. 🙂

AskWoody PlusHaving installed it (clean install on a test PC), IMO it’s not worth bothering even if it runs OK. “Nothing new to see folks, move along.” Really.
Plus, the ability to defer updates in Pro is GONE. [Pause] is your only option in the [Advanced] section, or [Group Policy Edit].
I think that alone is enough reason to ignore it.1 user thanked author for this post.
