• Is it safe? – Access 2007 runtime

    Hi all

    Running an application that needs microsoft access 2007 runtime. Is this safe?

    Did some googling and fount nothing in relation to security / issues

      MS Access is a database. The runtime is an engine to allow you to use an existing Access database.

      It’s an MS product, so you can decide if it’s safe.

      Thanks Paul it been such an old runtime I would prefer if the said application that useses it was up dated. We have had some bad cyber attacks over the last 2 years so a little jittery on affairs pertaining to older practices.

      Who has, you personally?
      We’ve seen a few data breaches and the SolarWinds backdoor, but nothing else we haven’t already had plenty of warning about.
