I was planning on replacing my desktop. Anyone has an opinion on this Lenovo?

The price looks reasonable for the headline specs.

This is where I would go into the weeds and look into the details such as the total number of USB ports (front and back), the variety of video ports available on the graphics card, the number of PCI slots available, and how many drives I can install inside the case. Sometimes you can find an attractive-sounding machine that, however, leaves little room for expansion and limited flexibility for the kind of peripherals you can connect.

I’d also look for the same or a comparable PC model from other vendors such as Staples or especially Newegg. A few days ago my father was surprised to see a better price than Amazon’s  for an item that he was shopping for.

If they have a model number listed, go to the Lenovo website and see if you can pull up the Service Manual for it. That way you can see the actual layout of the case.

Take a look at the HP Store.

They always have a sale in progress.

To answer your question we’d have to know if you are a gamer or not. Seems reasonable for a gamer and way over-speced, and thus over-priced, for a non-gamer.

Before I can offer any advice, how long is a piece of string?
(IOW, the PC will be used for…)

      Win8.1/R2 Hybrid lives on..

I recall when if you were a gamer you had to update or buy a new computer every year or two because of the rapid hardware and system requirements of the games.  Nowadays almost the same scenario applies to Win 11 players or Win11’ers.

Have you seen the price of Tums? It's enough to give you heartburn.

That looks like a solid machine for that money and will edit videos all day long.
As you only edit photos it may be more than you need, but if it’s within budget…

      cheers, Paul

I got the computer shown above.
I turn it off every night. Is that ok, or is it too much?
Also, when I turn the computer off it restarts by itself right away. When I shut it off for a second time it stays shut. How can I stop that?

I completely shutdown whatever computer I’m using when I’m done, and if I know I’ll be coming back to it soon I just put it into Sleep mode.  My main desktop computer is 11 years old and is still running fine.  My old IBM and Sony laptops are still running fine too.  As for your new computer starting up again, I have no idea what’s causing that.  All this new hardware and software does crazy things these days!

Do you shut it down or tell it to sleep?

What settings are in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do?

You can also turn off “fast start” on that page.

      cheers, Paul

      Paul,

      I do shut down.

I have WIN 11. I do not see anywhere “choose what the power button does”.

      See below .
