I just upgraded from Win 10 21H1 to 21H2 (Home x64)… everything went fine.

I had always blocked KB4023057 (Update for Windows Update Service Components) as per AskWoody experts recommended. This upgrade included KB5001716 that has the same name and the same sort of description as KB4023057 on the MS site.

Should info here and on the Master Patch List be updated to show this if it should be avoided?

Should I remove it (uninstall from Control Panel/Programs and Features)?

If KB4023057 is installed, leave it installed. Uninstall opinions may differ on this update.

      – KB5001716 new UI functionality/notification/downloader for Windows Update to make sure the OS is upgraded to supported version

      – KB4023057 “Update Health Tools” perform maintenance for Windows Update and its related services/tasks/registry and reset them to working state if they get disabled or malformed

KB5001716 functionality was previously included with KB4023057, but now it’s separate

I certainly hope there are benefits to doing this.
