        Greetings

More of an inquiry about the latest patches that were released this patch Tuesday 1/14/2019.  Did anyone else experience issues with Windows 7 SP1 and SharePoint online when trying to open Office 365 documents (word and excel) in the Click to Run applications where the application could not connect to the document?  You could open in the browser of choice but could not update.

If you downloaded, that was successful but if you edited or tried to upload anything back, same issue stated it could not connect to the document in SharePoint.  We place 3 tickets with MS as we are an EA customer and they did not call us back for over 18 hours, but when they did, the security patches released over night, there were 3 of them, magically fixed the problem as we did not thing but apply these patches to our environment.   Pretty amazing that they were inundated with calls yesterday, it was magically fixed over night, and there isn’t any news on this.

It broke a good amount of the machines in our 25K user environment.

        Windows 10 was unaffected.

        Regards
        Geno
