Hello,

I would like to write a rule where a cell decreases in value by a value in a different cell, every time a check mark is entered in a cell.  i would like that value to be reversed if the check mark is unchecked.

I hope this makes sense.  anyone have an if statement I can use for something like this?

Assuming you have created a box and linked it to A1, this formula will show the status.
=IF(A1,"True","False")

Replace the text (“True”, “False”) with the formula you need to change the value.
