markers on a log scale

How can I add extra markers to a logarithmic axis on a chart? All that I am getting now are powers of 10, how can I add 0.5, 5, 50, etc?

You can create a range and plot it on top of the axis, with symbols as + and then add DataLabels to display the values required.
Does this make sense? or shall I go into more detail. I use this method for display the original marker points rather than the log values.

Yes, it makes sense. I was hoping there would be a setting that controlled the display of units along an axis but apparently there is none.
