Not really much to report on the Apple front, 2020 iMac Monterey to 12.4 took about 30mins to update, 2.93gb in size. As you probably know the further back your version the larger the update gets and commensurately longer.

Not many changes “Universal Control” no longer says “Beta” so presumably now has the Apple seal of approval, Podcasts now no longer stores lots of back recordings, apparently 2 is the norm now. Rarely use both features very much but I would imagine regular users wont see any change.

On the unsupported Mac’s OCLP 0.45 is now on the Doritania web site, as for the so patched Macs, the standing advice is to see if they need re-patching (the GUI version will say if you hit root patch Button), however here a 2014 MacBook Pro updated just fine at about 40mins same improvements as above and didnt need re-patching despite being out of Support, seems to run fine, results may vary according to age of hardware.

Both Machines run Win 10 in Bootcamp and no issues booting with the new Patch.
