Just opened Outlook (Microsoft Home & Business 2016)  and was met with a banner advertisement – just below the tool bar – reading,

“EXPERIENCE MICROSOFT 365 Keep your files safe, secure, and accessible with 1 TB clout storage. Try Microsoft 365  Start free trial”

Another example of Microsoft’s intrusion into our systems and another reason why we are making the transition to Apple products.

The transition will invoke a collective sigh of relief.

I share your disdain for what Windows has become (it’s why I made the transition to Linux a few years ago), but is there not also a Mac version of Outlook?  Does the Mac version not have the ads?

We use three email browsers – Office 2016’s Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Runbox (one of our email service providers).

There are Linux and Mac version of Thunderbird that are available for free download.

Our Runbox email can be viewed via an internet browser.
