I use three pcs with Windows 10 prof.  Two are still working properly.  However, my newest, most powerful pc – a Dell desktop with a huge amount of solid state memory (no disc memory).

The last couple of days, the Chrome browser works well, except that the http://www.msn.com site rotating news items halt after a few news items and the browser locks up (no matter whether the news item stepping is done automatically or manually).  If I try to access http://www.msn.com from the Edge browser, I receive a message that I cannot because there are too many accesses to the site – try again later [but “later” i still receive the same message.

From my other two (much older) pcs, I have no problem accessing http://www.msn.com from the Chrome or Edge browsers.

What can I do to restore functionality on my main pc?  I ran the chrome utility that checks for “bad” software, with nothing found.

If I need to reinstall Chrome and/or Edge, is there a way without losing all my settings, etc?

        Thank you.

Update:  Edge now works properly on this pc, but Chrome still freezes – but still ONLY on the msn.com site when viewing the rotating news clips at the top of the page.
