My location is wrong on 1st page of Edge – how do u change it

When I bring up Edge on Windows 11 , it shows a wrong location for me. How do I change it to my correct location?

Is your location correct in the Maps and Weather apps?

Well that’s interesting.  I went to the weather app and it showed the same incorrect location. Using “search location” on that page, I searched for my correct location.

Having done that, and restarting for a different reason, now both the main page and the weather app show my correct location.

It looks like all is well now.

I had a similar issue where anything that used the Windows location API would detect my location as a city about 40 miles away from where I actually am. It took me almost a year to work it out. My laptop has a WWAN LTE card in it which also has a built-in GPS. I put my laptop beside a window and opened the Maps app. It started with the wrong location but eventually changed once it got a lock from GPS. I did this a few times over the course of a few days and it eventually corrected itself on other devices too.

Interesting I have tried to put in Myrtle Beach SC for a while in the ms weather app but come up with an error. Conway(near there) IS accepted. (NO I do not live there)
Some kind of block??
