Netrunner was the first KDE-based Linux distro that I tried, around 2014-15. Before long they switched to a “rolling release” model, which I didn’t care for so I looked around and found Kubuntu. IIRC, at the same time they also switched to a different base version of Linux.

Keep Running Windows 7 Safely for Years to Come  
Make Windows 10 look and work like Windows 7

Trying to ‘add widgets’ by whichever method results in a segmentation fault and desktop crash. This has been acknowledged by the devs but it’s a poor show when a bug of this nature makes it through the vetting process of a new release.
