no MSE update since 11/26/22 at 4:29am pacific time

I rely on MSE for my windows 7 computers, occasionally turning on Avast when there seems to be a problem, or ESET to scan. This has worked well for years.

This morning I went to update MSE on both of my Win7 computers (SP1, 64bit) and neither had a later update than the one in the title of this post.

I’d like to make sure that others are having the same result, and that this does not reflect a problem on my computers.

ps: just read the “why upgrade from Win7” thread with interest and giving the matter some thought. I definitely tend to hang on to old things until they have a problem. For example, my pickup truck will be 32 years old on Nov 30th. Runs perfectly. OTOH I have a wonderful mechanic who takes care if it with loving care.

When this kind of thing happened on our Win7 boxes, my first point of call was to visit
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/defenderupdates
then I would manually download the definitions and run the update to make sure there wasn’t an MS hiccup which occasionally happened with MSE.

Thank you. I am embarrassed to say that I thought today was the 27th. Doh!

I am up to date on my updates. Appreciate the prompt reply and will keep the recommended site in mind in case of future problems.
