After postponing the November 2022 update until this week, today I clicked on Update and Security and then Windows Update. When I tried to download the update, the system returned with the message “We couldn’t connect to the update service. We’ll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn’t work, make sure you’re connected to the Internet.” My computer, in fact, is connected to the Internet, so it should connect to the download service., and it has done in previous months without any problems. This is the second day I’ve tried downloading the November 2022 update, but it still cannot connect to the update service. What do you recommend that I do in order to receive the update? Thank you.

Try running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

Similar to Harry’s #2501742 question? Despite updating my Win10 21H2 regularly through 11/6/22, I get Microsoft support’s message “If your image does not have the March 22, 2022 (KB5011543) or later LCU, you must install the special standalone May 10, 2022 SSU (KB5014032) before installing this update”. That is KB5019959, which appears currently as the only “install” update in our newsletter’s fine table of updates for Win 10 21H2. Will look into Joep’s tips.

KB5019959 appears Installed without an entry in History. SvcStack shows 10etc..1940.
