Is my understanding of Office 2019 correct, in that I don’t get to choose to install only security updates? It seems that Office 2019 can only be updated via a cumulative update.

The updates listed here are for the persistent (.msi) versions of MS Office that get their updates through Windows Update. Office non-Security updates are released on the first Tues. of the month and the Security patches are released on Patch Tues.

Office 2019 has its own updating system and does not use Windows Update.

Thx for the post PK. I had fogotten to deactivate auto updates in my office C2R settings after installing  September’s at Defcon 4 and your post reminded me to to do so.
