Hello,

When opening outlook can’t establish connection keeps asking for a password. Even though you add it still prompts for it…confused. Any thoughts?’

What Internet service provider/email provider do you have?  It sounds like they have turned off basic authentication.  The best way is to re-set up your email to trigger Oauth or “modern” authentication.

Hello

We use Spectrum internet on a Windows 7 machine with Microsoft Office 2013 installed. The machine was a give away from a friend and we have been using this machine for a few years now. We are able to connect to the Outlook email using a Cromebook and on another PC outdated Vista Machine Microsoft Office 2007 installed without any problems.

Hello,

Found office updates on the task tray for download. After installation ,reboot, opened office and signed in with the password everything seems to work email has arrived and folders are up to date.
