As of a couple days ago I can no longer insert a horizontal line in an Outlook message.  I get a truncated, centered line instead of a complete horizontal line.  In rummaging around the Internet, this appears to be a universal problem and is causing major problems for some users.  I am not a firm believer in coincidence and this situation is concurrent with the January 15 updates, one of which is KB4528760.  Anyone have any comments and/or possible workarounds.  Any thoughts would be appreciated!

My signature includes a styled horizontal line in it. As a result, when I insert a horizontal line in my message body while my sig is present, it takes on the same line style. But if I wipe out the message body (signature and all) and then insert a horizontal line, I get the default line style at full width. For me, it has been this way for years, using the same version of Outlook.
