Office SP 1 & 2 (OfficeXP SP2)

This is weird! I ran the MS Office Update scan to see if there were any new updates I needed. Strangely, it came back and told me that I needed SP 1 & SP2. BUT these are already installed. Anyone have any ideas?

Don’t know why this is happening specifically with the Office SP’s, but have experienced analagous behavior with some of the IE hotfixes–posted it at MSN groups and Microsoft posted back this morning they know it occurs, but no remedy yet. Also have seen where you try to put in a hotfix or update and it tells you you must install browser version first that you already have. If you don’t get an answer you might put it up on one of the MSN Office groups or there is a ” feedback link” to Office Updates in the upper rt. corner of the update page you put up.

I reinstalled SP1 & SP2 and now everything seems to be working OK, sigh…
