I’d like to kick off a simple combined resource where users can get information on their ISPs options to opt-out of the use of their data (related to the recent news regarding congress allowing ISPs to sell data.)

Comcast (Home accounts): http://my.xfinity.com/adinformation/

Home internet account owners may opt out of targeted ads based on their use of the service.  They will still receive ads, but those will be generalized. Comcast account login required to opt-out.  Not to be confused with cookie tracking.

Feel free to add others as we go.

I could care less about targeted ads… I’d like to know what can stop collection and use of data in the first place. The targeted ad opt-out is designed to let you feel more secure, while the data continues to be mined. But, good to know resources out there.
