It contains a number of notable fixes too. For example, there are some ARM64 and cellular fixes, so once this update is bundled into the 2004 installation images, it should fix the block for Microsoft’s own Surface Pro X. It should also fix Nvidia issues for the Surface Book 3.

the defrag/optimization bug is still not fixed with KB4568831 because M$ did not update the defrag.exe, defragsvc.dll & dfrgui.exe files, which are still at 19041.84.

I was offered the version 2004 update about 6 weeks ago on my backup PC (Windows10 Pro 64 bit version 1909, AMD system with Ryzen7 1800X and 16 gb ram). I decided to try it and had no problems installing or using it. After a day or two, the pc slowed to a crawl with opening a program taking 30 seconds or more, then opening a file the same again. After searching for reasons, I came to the conclusion that Malwarebytes Premium was the culprit. I had a similar problem several years ago with Windows7 and Malwarebytes. I disabled Malwarebytes Premium (version 4.1.2.73) and the pc acted with normal speed. I enabled Malwarebytes, and the pc slowed again. I have searched Microsoft and Malwarebytes sites for a fix, but so far none seems to be available. By the way, as to Susan Bradley’s query of who has seen version 2004, I received the upgrade notification today in Windows Updates that version 2004 is ready to install on my primary pc (again, AMD with Ryzen 9 3900X and 32 gb ram). I think I will wait for this pc until the Malwarebytes conflict is resolved.
