I use remote access for helping clients and relatives, but I found that Teamviewer, LogMeIn Rescue, and GoToMyPC, are too expensive.

What works for me from an iPad or iMac to a Windows computer is NuLana’s Remotix.  It correctly resizes other people’s screens to the 5K resolution of my iMac’s monitor.  It works over my Verizon Cellular at low speeds.

All together, the cost for my iPad and iMac apps were about $100, a 1-time fee.  This is much cheaper than Teamviewer at $500.  I have emailed support, and they respond within 2 days.

Splashtop occasionally went on sale, but the subscription model still seemed too costly.  Teamviewer free cannot correctly expand the client’s monitors to my screen.  Aargh.  LogMeIn, when I used it, had the same problem.

      Just my personal experience,
