      Miss Susan, Can you please explain to mortals who are the ones affected with this fatal error?

      Just someone who don't want Windows to mess with its computer.

        Susan’s asleep at the moment, but I can give you a thumbnail look. If you have an application made with Access (possibly older versions of Access), upgrading from Win10 version 1709 to 1803 may lead to corrupt data.

        If you aren’t running any Access applications, you’re fine. If you aren’t upgrading from 1709 to 1803, you’re fine. If you’re already on 1803, and your database isn’t completely screwed up, you’re fine.

      Those Registry changes come with a downside — it will negatively affect all SMB file share performance.  Which sucks, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do…..
