I like the last year’s bleeding edge technology on sale this year at Microcenter/Other retailers’ older model year deals where business grade laptops can be had at nearly half off. So that’s a brand new Probook/Other maker’s business grade laptop and a longer OEM support period than any consumer branded laptop receives.

So that one year old technology that’s no longer that latest but still is sufficient for the most part for years to come and much better OEM support because it’s their business laptop line that the enterprises buy in volume and the OEM’s do not skimp on quality in order to make those 3+ years warranties that come with Business grade laptops. Whatever Business laptop makes and models that are the most popular with the big enterprise purchasing departments will have the better quality Motherboard/Components¬† and longest support periods from the OEMs(3+ year warranties also).

Be careful that you don’t buy a laptop with too small an internal drive. You need at least 128GB of space on your internal drive. You also need at least 8GB of RAM.

As long as you have at least what I have listed above, you will be fine. If you can’t get the above numbers, I would suggest your not going much below those numbers.
