I have not been able to insert an image to an Excel page header in three different installations of Excel 365. When I try, I get as far as a modal dialog box to select an image (from the computer,  online, or from OneDrive) but the dialog box is not responsive.

Anyone else experiencing this?  And more importantly, is there a fix?

How are you trying to do it?

On my Excel 365 it works as follows:
      1. Menu “Page Layout”
      2. Page Setup
      3. Tab “Header/Footer”
      4. Button “Custom Header”
      5. Select left, centre, or right then Insert Picture icon (2nd last on right)

Above works on both header and footer.

Thanks.  The problem was that it wasn’t working as it should across three different installations that I tried.  However, as of this morning, it’s now working as expected.

Issues like that are frustrating, at least it’s working now. You might want to mark this topic as resolved.

Whatever the issue was, it was either transitory or somehow resolved.
