Recent problems with Change Tracking and Editing Attached Files

Ok,

Tonight I put in a fairly large post and had 2 different problems.

• I needed to edit some text.
• I needed to remove an attachment and replace it with another
So problem one, when I went in to edit I noticed the track changes box was checked, I unchecked it. When I went back in to work on the attachment it was checked again.

Problem 2, when in edit mode there is no readily apparent way to remove an attachment. Actually, you can do this from the main screen, at least I could with my privileges. However, I still needed to remove the link in the text in Edit mode!

Let me check with Kara because we’re supposed to be getting rid of that prechecked edit box on an initial post.

You can discard the attachment before going into edit.
