I’m planning on going there in 2020. Do any of you have recommandations ?

We will probably go to Java / Bali / Lombok

Indonesia has a huge number of cultures, traditions, languages, food, etc.

I’ve been to the big islands — Sumatra and Java — and Bali. Would love to go back. My son’s stomping to go to Komodo.

You need to be aware of the giant differences between, e.g., Bali and the dominant culture in Java and Sumatra. Worlds apart. Kind of like Singapore in that regard.

Thanks for your feedback Woody. Komodo is gonna be closed for foreigner no ? (I think I’ve heard something like that).

Do you know anything about Lombok and how it is after the earthquake they hade last year ?
