I have routinely created a Recovery Drive after a new version of Windows 10 is installed.  I include system files when creating the Recovery Drive.

Usually the Recovery Wizard alerts me to have a drive that is at least 16gb in size.  This time it asked me for a drive of at least 32gb in size.

Is it normal to go up in USB size for Recovery Drive creation? Or could it be an indicator of something else?

Probably Windows getting bloated by all the base drivers needed to boot.

FWIW, I only ever create a backup recovery USB from my backup software – <1GB.

        cheers, Paul
