Just ran into a possible bug with Recovery Mode on 21H1.
After entering recovery mode and selecting Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings I get the expected Startup Settings screen.
But, after I click the Restart button, my system reboots back to the standard login screen without displaying the following startup options screen.
Tried this on my other 21H1 PC with exactly the same results.
All the other Advanced Options available in recovery mode work as expected, it’s only the Startup Settings that’s acting strange.
So, anyone else experiencing the same issue?
BTW, if I use the bcdedit /set {globalsettings} advancedoptions true command I can force the settings Startup options screen to appear during the reboot and am able to select any of the various options.
The catch with using that command is it makes the Startup options screen appear every time the PC is started/rebooted until you disable it by changing true to false at the end of the command!
