I have a large band that rises up from the bottom of the screen – it is a checker (Google’s? maybe) as to whether I want to see a particular ad.
It is completely useless since the ads keep changing in any case and is VERY annoying.
I can’t find how to remove it.

I tried removing it in the “extension tab” of Chrome, but it is not there.

Each time I do another card game, it rises again!

Is this on a specific web site or all web sites?  I would go into add/remove programs and sort by date and see what recently got installed.  If you don’t recognize something, uninstall it.
