    The issue with WU July KB5015814, meanwhile solved, reappears with KB5016629 in WU August, though with different error codes. In July I had error code 0x8000ffff, now I get 0x80073701.

    A claimed chat session with Microsoft Support states: “Yes, it’s a common issue with Windows 11 and we’re currently working on it. Apologies for the inconvenience. …“.

    So do I wait and see, or do I perform a repair upgrade?
