report button possible?

A recent thread inundated with chaff which Woody has kindly edited and really shouldn’t have to do, has prompted this request.

Can we have a ‘report’ button for each thread which alerts MVP’s?

Belligerent lashing out at anyone who had a different opinion, picking holes in comments, using quotes out of context are usually signs of a troll on the many fora I visit. I did hint at this on the actual thread but, went right over the MVP’s heads who were also drawn into the arguments..quite messy when reading the entire thread back IIRC.

This site / forum has potential and I think a report button (to Mods) on each thread would be beneficial to the community members.

One caveat, if I may. If you’re considering a “Report This Post” option, consider having it as a feature only available to those who are both registered and logged in.

I also think a report to moderator feature is a great suggestion. Might I also suggest that after the first report the feature be disable. As fast as this forum is growing, the MODs could easily get a hundred reports.
