Request For Incremental Image Attachment Size Increase

I’ve tried to attach several screen grabs from my Windows 10 desktop as .PNG files, and they’ve been rejected because of size.

Generally speaking, these screen grabs have been under 750 kB in size (mostly in the 600s).

It’s possible to compress a screen grab as a JPEG heavily and get under the current 500 kB size limit, but then the screen grab looks a bit degraded. PNG is lossless, so that degradation doesn’t happen.

If it is possible through reconfiguration (no developer expense), I would like to request an attachment size increase to 750 kB from the current 500 kB.

I think I just found a setting that’ll do the trick. It limits ALL file uploads. I set it at 1024 KB…

Ohh wow finally 1(whole)Mb you wouldnt belive how many pic’s I have junked because they were too big. Still nice to bask in the empty space after a clear out of old Pic’s, folders, folders full of Misc drivers dating back to Win2k (yeah really lol) & .iso images. I think I am safe to “Junk” Win10 Ver.s 1507, 1511? and a collecion of modified .wim’s that’ll probably never get to the .iso stage or even installed/used.

Ohh I know theres disk cleaners etc but the Documents folder  was like a “tin of rusty old screws” sitting in the garage waiting to get used but they never do.

My little old Win7Prox86 thanks me for it, now to fill it up again with another 17 years of Junk!!;  🙂
