I do hope this is the right place for this as it seems to be a Win 10 “problem”. When I want to use my desk top for a while, I often use the SLEEP functionality, so that I don’t have to spend time starting it up again. Sometimes it stays asleep, but other times it wakes up without any prompting on my part. This happens sometimes before I even leave the room – the computer starts up again. If I want to put it to sleep, then I have to open everything up and then put it to SLEEP again. Other times, it seems to work, but when I return an hour or so later, the computer has started up again and is running the screen saver and is waiting for me to sign on to my Win 10 login. Other times, it stays asleep until I return. I would like to know why it isn’t staying asleep and if there is something I need to set to ensure that it will stay asleep when I tell it to. Any insight that anyone would care to share will be greatly appreciated.
