AskWoody PlusI have a Windows Access runtime appication (I think it is Access 2003, if I remember correctly) which runs well but on initialization always asks for the ‘smartcard’. I can click on ‘ignore’ or ‘bypass’ or something and it goes away so it isn’t a great problem.
But it is irritating. Of the many programs I run it is the only one that asks that. It is a Win10Pro laptop, up to date with patches, and has no smartcard facility that I am aware of (… is it hidden?)
Is there a way to get rid of that particular popup? Is it an Access thing or is it something the programmer put into the database, I wonder.
thanks
Richard
