    (FF 94) Thanks to a special member(s) in the Mozillazine FF Support Forum I have restored my Top Sites Thumbnails to Full Images with NO HUGE WHITE BORDER as follows:

    In your Profile Chrome Folder create a New Folder — userContent.css — via the same Notepad method used for userChrome.css creation. Enter the following & Save.
    NOTE: I entered this post in the Text Tab but this page moved some Line Indents to All Far Left; I presume that is irrelevant to its functioning.

    /* about:home – about:newtab */
    @-moz-document
    url-prefix(about:newtab),
    url-prefix(about:home) {
    .top-site-outer .tile .icon-wrapper {
    height: 100% !important;
    width: 100% !important;
    }
    .top-site-outer .default-icon,
    .top-site-outer .search-topsite {
    background-size: 100% !important;
    height: 100% !important;
    width: 100% !important;
    }
    }

      Accreditation to dickvl – here is the original thread:

      with formatting as intended:

      /* about:home - about:newtab */
      @-moz-document
        url-prefix(about:newtab),
        url-prefix(about:home) {
         .top-site-outer .tile .icon-wrapper {
           height: 100% !important;
           width: 100% !important;
         }
         .top-site-outer .default-icon,
         .top-site-outer .search-topsite {
           background-size: 100% !important;
           height: 100% !important;
           width: 100% !important;
        }

      one redmond way, it's THAT obvious!
