Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Greetings to all, I am experiencing a problem on my Windows 10 PC that I cant seem to solve. I recently updated Windows and, after updating it, when I start my PC it gets stuck at the Windows welcome screen. I don’t understand if the issue is because I updated Windows. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Please help.
You are are the welcome screen, but the mouse does not respond at all, correct?
If you force power down (hold power button 5 seconds) and then power up, waiting for the screen and mouse to freeze each time, by the third time it should boot into recovery mode. After the first power down, unplug all external devices except mouse and keyboard. When you get to recovery mode, choose the options to boot to safe mode as shown here:

If you boot into safe mode successfully, shut down normally from start menu, and reboot into normal mode, with a little luck it will have fixed itself by booting into safe mode.
If at any point you get a numeric blue screen error, take a picture of it with your phone.
