Just recently, maybe because of the latest update, my system will lock up and refuse to response to any mouse click, even any icon on the task bar, after a couple of hours of use.  Clearing the problem has been simple but the problem is annoying.  I can use the CTRL-ALT-DELETE to bring up the blue screen with several options including cancel.  When it opens, none of the options respond to a mouse click, including cancel.  However, once I click anywhere on the screen, all options become available.  Clicking cancel then brings me back to where I was before the lock up.  I have not noticed any impact from the cancellation other than releasing the lockup.  Rebooting does not eliminate the problem.  I have not rolled back the 22H2 update to see if that would solve the problem and have not checked if I can even do that now.  Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a fix?  Thanks for any response

If you are using a wireless mouse, have you tried changing the battery?

Thank you for your reply.  The next time the system locks up I will try changing the mouse battery.  I will also try using a wired mouse.  However, I doubt the mouse is the source of my problem.  When the system is locked, the mouse cursor freely moves across the screen – when the battery is low such movement is jerky.  Also, once I use the keyboard CTRL-ALT-DEL, the mouse click works to enable the cancel button and then again to react to the cancel button.
