      Spoiler for those who don’t want to click the link: it’s basically the markup tools in the macOS Preview application.

      I’d hardly consider that a “hidden” paint program, and I’d hardly consider that a paint program to begin with, given how you cannot start with a blank document and must open an existing image. It’s more of an image annotation tool. Useful? Yes. If I wanted to draw a crude stick figure drawing? Not the right tool for the job.

      I can recommend Paintbrush for those who actually need an MS Paint-like program for quick sketches. It’s free and lightweight, and is an actual paint program. https://paintbrush.sourceforge.io/
