Temp files on Windows 10 fill up at the rate of several per second and in a few minutes fill up more than the 80 Gb on my SSD and the computer crash.

There are hundreds of people complaining about the same problem on the internet. Up to date nobody had found a solution neither Microsoft. Please, can somebody help?

Please be more specific.  What version of W10 (e.g. 1904, 1909)?  Home or Pro? 32 or 64 bit?  What folder(s) are the temp files going into  (e.g. C:\Temp, C:|Windows\Temp, Temporary Internet files, somewhere else)?  What sort of file names?  Can they be opened, perhaps with Notepad?  If so, what do they contain?  Related to any specific activity (e.g. browsing the web, email) or all the time?  Any other useful information?

        Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 2004

What have you done to try and stop them being generated?
What software do you run? Anything unusual?
Has it always happened? Did it start recently, after some event?

        cheers, Paul
