I have used Rainmeter- just the basic program to do much of the same. Also has many options nad is easily configured. Many other skins available.

 

Love your column but do try out Rainmeter.

What am I doing wrong? I’m trying to run trafficomontor on a win10/pro/21h2 system and I get “The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem”, then the same with msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll. I didn’t think trafficmonitor had to be “installed” [and I didn’t see any way to do that in the zip file] so I just tried unzipping it and running it from the directory.

It seems TM needs the C++ libraries to run.

FAscinating.  I checked and my win10/rpo/21h2 systems seems to come with c++ libraries from 2008, 2012, 2013 , 2015-2019.  But I guess none of them are new enough traffic monitor.  How strange…
