      I thought this is not possible, but within windows, no problem. I wonder how these files are accessed.

      What you see is a combination of private and public:

      Oh, that’s not the really fun one.

      When people use localized versions of Windows, certain folder names are localized in Explorer views but not on disk, and variably in applications.

      So, on disk you can have one folder with the English name and another with the locale-appropriate name, and Explorer shows them both with the locale-appropriate name.

      Which is a bother if you’re trying to drag-and-drop into either of those specifically…

      And this happens fairly often by accident if you’re copying or moving those by dragging the entire folder from an Explorer view to another location.
