Somehow I got two links to MS Office 365 Online

        https://www.office.com/?auth=2&home=1

        https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox

        Both show email.

The second is my Outlook online Inbox, but what exactly is the first?  What e-mail address are the senders using to have mail end up there?  I get there by the first link and/or clicking the Home button from the second link — the Outlook online inbox

The first link is to the Office 365 user home page. That is NOT a link to email. Notice the launcher on the left showing all the Office apps to which you have access. The web versions of the various Office apps can be launched from there. The right pane is a blended most recently used list of Office files. It is blended in that it contains entries from all the Office apps.
