I am on Win 10 21H2 Home version and have used the InControl utility to keep on 21H2.
I’ve  just changed the setting on InControl  to 22H2 as I intend to move from 21H2 to 22H2 as part of the April updates when the April DEFCON rating gets lowered.  My question is:

do I ‘release Control’ when I do the monthly Windows updates, or do I keep the InControl setting locked at 22H2 and assume that 22H2 will be offered anyway.

The wording on the InControl site is a bit vague ‘…change the (‘release’) to ‘(future release’) and press ‘Take Control’. Windows update will now be targeted at the future release and will offer it for installation once it’s available.’

    Appreciate any advice on this.

      Release control.
      Change the release to 22H2.
      Take control.

Without taking control you may find yourself “upgraded” to 11.

      cheers, Paul
