Hello.  Does anyone know how to stop an update preview on a Windows 10 Home system version 1909 from being installed?  I used to be able to forgo those updates with my Windows 7 system.  Once I click to “resume updates” from being paused .. those previews automatically get downloaded and installed.

        Thanks in advance.

Once you click “Resume updates”  the expected result is for Windows Update to download any available/pending update.

Th get around the problem, you should set “Pause” the day before Patch Tueaday for the maximum amount of days (35).
When Woody sets the DEFCON number to 3 or above, click on “Resume updates” to install the approved updates.
Wait until the day before Patch Tuesday to reset “Pause.”

This should prevent the Preview CUs from getting installed.
.NET Previews are a different story.
