I recently purchased a Motorola G power phone and wanted to connect my Windows 10 desktop PC with the phone.  After connecting the phone using a USB cable, I received a prompt saying Google wanted to be authorized to download videos, pictures, etc.

Options were given for one time only access, always prompt, etc.

I selected one time only access (which was a mistake).  How can I get Windows 10 to prompt whenever my cell phone is connected via USB Cable?

Any new attempt to connect results in the message “Something went wrong”.   Not very helpful.

      Plug the phone in.
Go to Device Manager (Win, device)
      Delete the phone device.
Unplug and re-plug the phone. Windows should ask what to do.

      cheers, Paul
