I am just starting to learn VBA and the examples I see on the web all seem to show the Code window and the Project window side by side.  I have tried just about everything I can imagine to no avail.  Can some one show me how this is done?  Thanks in advance for sharing your insight.

CTRL R will bring up the Prohject Explorer window

WSMartinM, yes, that it does, but then the code window disappears. If I have the code window open and press CTRL R, the Project window appears, but the code window disappears.

In a lot of the examples that I have seen, the Project Explorer window and the code window are side-by-side.  I want to know how they got that display.

Well, I finally got it to work the way I wanted it.  Not quite sure how to explain it, but I went to the Tools>Options>Dockable and ticked off the <Project Explorer> and the <Locals Window>.

I was then able to separate the Project Window so that it was floating and then dock it beside the “Code” view and somehow, merge the two so they were side by side.

That is the best explanation I can give.
