    My computer is stuck at ver. 1709.16299.xxxx since February. All updates since then have failed. If I download the latest version and do a clean install from a USB stick, will that solve the problem?

      Options

      Win10 v1709 has reached EOL. You will not get any more updates.
      Try using Windows Update Assistant. (It’s at the top of the page) It will assess your computer and help you upgrade to a later version, probably v1903. Maybe preserving your installed programs and your data.
