Win 11 22H2 downloads but not install

I have no trouble downloading Win 11 22H2, but it will not install. Have tried troubleshooting with no favorable result. What can I check to try to resolve this problem

Is this an upgrade from Win10? or Win11 21H2? or a monthly update?
The attempted installation should give you an error code in “View update history” or when it reverts to the previous OS. What error are you getting?
What other observations during the install/reversion (example: video irregularities, hardware not working, Black screen, BSOD, etc)?

“Upgrading” from Win 11 Pro 21H2. Not a monthly update and all other updates (security, etc) have worked without problem. Download seems to work, installation goes to 100% and then fails. “We couldn’t install this update, but you can try again (0x80070001).” I have not observed any irregularities or hardware failure. No black screen or BSOD.
