I apparently inadvertently told it to get Win 11. It started downloading but I couldn’t find how to cancel the download. Now it is installing. Can I get rid of 11 when it’s finished?

When it’s finished installing, give it a few hours to finish the job. Then go to Settings\Updates & Security\Recover and roll it back to the previous version.

After that finishes, get Gibson Research’s InControl. Put it on your desktop in easy reach and set it for Win10 and 22H2.

And make an image backup so you can restore even if the rollback isn’t available.

      cheers, Paul
