I have kept a old post on Ask Woody (febuary 2022) on how to install Win 11 with a local account, tips and tricks.

Is it still valuable or it doesn’t work anymore ?

    Here it is:

With Windows 11 22H2 you use the trick where you enter no@thankyou.com when it demands you enter a Microsoft account during setup

Susan, just for information, at the Thurrott link about setup Local Account, at the very bottom comments, there is a post dated 16 February 2023 that says it fails. Could you or someone with “Test Machines” double check that this use email “no at thankyou.com” still works to bypass Microsoft Account? Our AskWoody community might have someone willing to do a current check/test if we can still setup Windows 11 with Local Account. Just being wary. Thank you.

Here are two current sources for installing Win 11 with a local account only.

The Ghacks link is the newest from March 11th. Both links are very thorough.
